Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes in the game Lüder Roppel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lothar Heber. Benedikt Bensch hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Melzer kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Zé Paulo da Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo da Silva. In the 43rd minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. Moritz Hasenjäger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigel Elenescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rune Jarstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 63rd minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Rune Jarstein despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Jarstein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Rune Jarstein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Benedikt Bensch hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Moritz Hasenjäger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rune Jarstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
