Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 36th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joseph Svartengren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Svartengren having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexei Karamazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joseph Svartengren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's goalkeeper Joseph Svartengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Joseph Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joseph Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Alexei Karamazov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Joseph Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joseph Svartengren. Joseph Svartengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 70th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexei Karamazov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 74th minute of the match Hallstahammar IK got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexei Karamazov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hallstahammar IK's Alexei Karamazov to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Joseph Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
