Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danny Gilespie started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Gilespie in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Rangers FC from getting a goal against them. Tim Charles hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Rangers FC's Danny Gilespie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mario Fernandino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fergus Fairbairn firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Eduardo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Rangers FC's Tyler McCraw seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tyler McCraw the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rangers FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tyler McCraw had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tyler McCraw hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Madrid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Danny Gilespie sent off a good shot on target. When Tim Charles fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangers FC's protests and gave Tim Charles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Tim Charles got a free kick in the 95th minute.
