Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, 俞鹏钢 made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Chaves in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Robu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remzi Özgunay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Paulo Renato Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔扬真 in the 33rd minute of play. The ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛's Paulo Renato Chaves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔扬真 in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute 乔扬真 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛's 肖常志. But to his dismay, 肖常志 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, 乔扬真 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Paulo Renato Chaves sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The audience was convinced that Paulo Renato Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 俞鹏钢 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. The supporters of ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, 肖常志 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and 肖常志 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-12 became the score in the 80th minute when 乔扬真 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when 俞鹏钢 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, 乔扬真 took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. 乔扬真 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 乔扬真 in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. ◇Mz.Dream◆英阿再战马岛's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
