Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Twan van Nistelrooij started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodri Gol's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodri Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodri Gol in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Leahu having to make a save. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. YKE's goalie prevented a goal. Rodri Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Leahu was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 43rd minute of the match. Traian Brăiloiu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Felix Leahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Twan van Nistelrooij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Rodri Gol notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Twan van Nistelrooij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Twan van Nistelrooij scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Samet Ağar hit a great ball. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Twan van Nistelrooij was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. YKE's players had a chance to rest. The corner led F.C. YKE's Twan van Nistelrooij to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij in the 80th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. YKE.
