The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Patrone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kevin Mastache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. Los Delfines's Saverio Regis was substituted for Atilano Quinten. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Tomáš Kožený. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Pascual Carballar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Carballar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
