The crowd rose to their feet as Durvalino Soeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Soeiro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match Durvalino Soeiro climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jonathan Ferrant. In the 72ndth minute of the game Durvalino Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Queiroz to maneuver through the defense.
