Macos Graciani made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luca Zorita. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After 29 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Song Xiong Hong. 30 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Donato having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere.

DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Christian Carrier was substituted for Kenny Rothwell. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Lopes made a kick off. Olivier Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Chico Donato to make any attempt to save it. 70 minutes into the match, Olivier Gilg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olivier Gilg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Niculae Martinescu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Wilton do Valle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 86th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Martinescu. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DIPLOMATA FC PAB.
