Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Flóki Factor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Flóki Factor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Flóki Factor made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes, Horácio Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luis Cristaldo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luis Cristaldo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 52 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Factor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flóki Factor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Onurhan in the 64th minute of the match. Horácio Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Flóki Factor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Factor in the 83rd minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
