In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Elçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Ewertowski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Monni. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Carlo Monni sent off a good shot on target. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Elçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Brama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Monni made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Zawisza Obronny kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Brama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antoni Brama saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Brama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kazimierz Ewertowski, made in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Elçin came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Monni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Antoni Brama in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Śląsk Bytom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Peru's Alonso Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Peru booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Ewertowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Elçin in the 79th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Hakkı Elçin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Antonio Tenorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Tenorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Brama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Śląsk Bytom's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
