Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Elbert Haar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Elbert Haar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 10th minute of the game Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo played forward. Haroldo Weather's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Elbert Haar came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 36th minute. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Weather's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Haroldo Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mexico booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Foyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Weather in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Weather took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Elbert Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar. Elbert Haar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elbert Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Hugon Wolicki kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elbert Haar having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Elbert Haar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elbert Haar skillfully saved the ball. Elbert Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Elbert Haar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elbert Haar having to interfere. Elbert Haar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 89th minute of play. Jeremie Van Deijck kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Adam Kock hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Fernando Geraets got a free kick in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
