Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Andy Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Andy Cole tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Samuel Navarro hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Andy Cole dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lokon Pøhl in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokon Pøhl in the 25th minute of the match. Gernando Rocha made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andy Cole however managed to control. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lokon Pøhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta Negra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lokon Pøhl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Andy Cole could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Cole. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokon Pøhl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Andy Cole hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cazalla in the 56th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floresta Negra FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais did a great save. In the 59th minute, Jerzy Zjawin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 73 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egun Pais having to make a save. Abram Secada came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egun Pais could save by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egun Pais quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 90 minutes into the match, Lokon Pøhl notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Floresta Negra FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
