Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flóki Factor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Délio Zanette took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Délio Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Factor in the 14th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luis Cristaldo. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s attentive Luis Cristaldo managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Flóki Factor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Flóki Factor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Flóki Factor took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 59 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luis Cristaldo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 61 minutes into the game, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Flóki Factor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 65th minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Factor in the 66th minute of play. Arif Onurhan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flóki Factor's shot from short distance in the 88th minute.
