Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Soeiro. João Augusto Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of play forced Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but João Augusto Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 20th minute of play. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Gino Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Fábio Félix scored to the left of an out of position Marco Day, making the score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Monty Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Rodrigo Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porvir FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Gino Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Augusto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Porvir FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. USA's Jacob May was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Augusto Soeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Félix in the 58th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evandro Penha who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Fábio Félix managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Porvir FC's Claes Bjurström was substituted for Fábio Félix. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porvir FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. João Augusto Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Sam Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The crowd rose to their feet as Sam Campbell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Augusto Soeiro. That made the score 3-2 in the 79 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 83rd minute of play forced Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Sam Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Campbell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Augusto Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 91st minute. Edu França charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Edu França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalid Parry struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. João Augusto Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 95 minutes into the game, Porvir FC's Claes Bjurström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
