In the 16th minute, Sebastian Deissler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dynamo Kielce's Zbyszek Jarosiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Deissler in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. If Sebastian Deissler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zbyszek Jarosiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Dynamo Kielce's Zbyszek Jarosiewicz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Dynamo Kielce's goalkeeper Zbyszek Jarosiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dynamo Kielce throughout the match.
