In the 53rd minute, Jose Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Jose Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Narciso Miro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alzaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 60 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Miro. With a little luck, Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alzaga FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luz Tejedor in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arcadio Buendia saved Alzaga FC from getting behind. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Goretzka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
