Jonas Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Candido Garin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 17th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Oja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Fe saved Cavallino Rampante II from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cavallino Rampante II's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Fe came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute of play. When Manuel Ioritz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavallino Rampante II's protests and gave Manuel Ioritz a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Cavallino Rampante II got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ioritz. Ivo Oja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Ernesto Fe was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Cavallino Rampante II from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 70th minute Ivo Oja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Fe made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Fe made a huge save. With a little luck, Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Oja in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Fe. Ernesto Fe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Cavallino Rampante II made a substitution. Haroldo Caradaro replaced Ivo Oja. Cavallino Rampante II's Fabian Jarosiewicz was substituted for Candido Garin. After having played for 86 minutes, Ubaldo Gonzales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Gonzales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Gonzales in the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
