Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Ruben Salvator was extremely unlucky when he, in the 2nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ramon Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When A. Korn's Ruben Salvator in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Salvator in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ramon Diaz sent off a good shot on target. If Cornel Vulpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A. Korn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornel Vulpe in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gonzalo Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Ovando. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Salvator to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Vulpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Salvator in the 51st minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 55th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Ruben Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Vulpe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to make a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Cirilo Urki got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A. Korn succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
