Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Vulpe shot from long distance in the 12th minute, but Dante Lacasa was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luca Zorita got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mexico booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Vulpe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
