Botvik FC's Heikki Räsänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Botvik FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Botvik FC's Heikki Räsänen got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Heikki Räsänen. Heikki Räsänen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Cabañas in the 12th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heikki Räsänen firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 16 minutes Botvik FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heikki Räsänen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Heikki Räsänen 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Heikki Räsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylvesteri Virtanen struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botvik FC. 28 minutes into the match, Botvik FC's Jerzy Werra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Botvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lassi Kaikkonen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Heikki Räsänen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes of play, Botvik FC's 鲁崇铮 made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Werra came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Heikki Räsänen. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Jerzy Werra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jerzy Werra tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Botvik FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ecuador.
