The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddy Laporte was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eddy Laporte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eddy Laporte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octaaf Bosmans's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octaaf Bosmans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Octaaf Bosmans hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Octaaf Bosmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Eddy Laporte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Koen Rosbach fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Vliegplein's protests and gave Koen Rosbach a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Koen Rosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KFC Vliegplein fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
