Alejandro Cugat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. Daniel Zorita scored 0-7 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Cugat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejandro Cugat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Alejandro Cugat came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After some careless play in the ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Cugat. The ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Cugat should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Cugat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Cugat, 0-12. In the 57thth minute of the game Juan Sebastián Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Alejandro Cugat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Guzman during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Cugat. That made the score 0-17 in the 84 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Cugat was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alejandro Cugat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustín Saelices showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-19 in the 94 minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
