Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eddy Laporte took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Paul-Louis Jannes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 15th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddy Laporte's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Endel Darmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vliegplein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endel Darmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Eddy Laporte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Costa to make the kick off. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after KFC Vliegplein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo De Jonge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Reinaert Vischkens made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ferdinand Weijnants however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 61st minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Eddy Laporte sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Laporte, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi Vissenaeckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teo De Jonge. KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Laporte in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Salvador Gisbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo De Jonge came out of the goal and Salvador Gisbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octaaf Bosmans in the 91st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Reinaert Vischkens in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. After 96 minutes of play, KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, KFC Vliegplein could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
