Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. The corner led to Yuquerí AFC's Octavio Garcia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Celedonio Lastur in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Torres in the 15th minute of the match. Celedonio Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Yuquerí AFC's Celedonio Lastur got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Makareus Picoulas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yuquerí AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play forced Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Makareus Picoulas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Torres scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when Yuquerí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ime Chabas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dacian Hirean in the 67th minute. Yuquerí AFC's Victor Rainea was substituted for Octavio Garcia. In the 80th minute Dacian Hirean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Celedonio Lastur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Luque lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball.
