Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Taco Van Der Hoorn got the match started through his kick off. Taco Van Der Hoorn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, USA's Edward Mcdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasco Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Nikolay Dudevski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Vasco Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Taco Van Der Hoorn came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Taco Van Der Hoorn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute, Taco Van Der Hoorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Taco Van Der Hoorn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th match minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andriy Kaká to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Du Le Jun was substituted for Kauan Mandrak. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Taco Van Der Hoorn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Vasco Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 69th minute of the match. Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Oliverios Gayangos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Taco Van Der Hoorn got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ made a substitution. Enrique Domingues replaced Taco Van Der Hoorn. 85 minutes into the match, Nikolay Dudevski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Day, 0-5. 88 minutes into the game, Enrique Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikolay Dudevski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Nikolay Dudevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Nikolay Dudevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The USA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ to win.
