Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Franky Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Ooms in the 14th minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hunor Csapó having to make a save. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hunor Csapó was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hunor Csapó was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Brent-Jan Koninckx got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 61st minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hunor Csapó saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Ooms in the 65th minute of play. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Luca Rouco put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Benitez in the 86th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Benitez in the 89th minute of play. Adrian Zbora took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Mexico played a much better game than Buffalo Timişoara and deserved their victory. The Buffalo Timişoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
