Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cemal Özgun in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Yavuzalp Mesut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Last Airbender fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Last Airbender's Şeray Rauf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. But to his dismay, Cemal Özgun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After the first half The Last Airbender were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yavuzalp Mesut was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in The Last Airbender's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şeray Rauf came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Cemal Özgun came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the The Last Airbender fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemal Özgun couldn't finish the play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Last Airbender's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Patricio Costa made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that The Last Airbender's Şeray Rauf managed to reach the ball for a save. Yavuzalp Mesut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Cemal Özgun took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cemal Özgun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 85 minute of play. If Cemal Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
