With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berthold Bach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Henning came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Richard Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Bach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Torsten Henning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Berthold Bach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 29th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Nixon in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Henning to maneuver through the defense. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of play. Berthold Bach made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Che Doderer made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Richard Nixon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Richard Nixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Amend kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Berthold Bach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Henning came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after SV Klingsmoos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SV Klingsmoos's goalie and right to Julian Murillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SV Klingsmoos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 82 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berthold Bach. SV Klingsmoos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After some careless play in the SV Klingsmoos defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berthold Bach. The SV Klingsmoos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berthold Bach should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Henning in the 94th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Henning in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
