The audience was convinced that Oskar Ånger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Bäckefors BF's Igor Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Bäckefors BF from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. 23 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bäckefors BF the free kick. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A hard shot 42 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Igor Damião managed to make a qualified save. Bäckefors BF's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Ånger in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. After the first half Bäckefors BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Gilbert Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Ralf Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Oskar Ånger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Oskar Ånger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Oskar Ånger tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Ånger in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Igor Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskar Ånger in the 83rd minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Damião having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Bäckefors BF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Back. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Oskar Ånger sent off a good shot on target. Oskar Ånger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Bäckefors BF played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
