Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claris Quiroga started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Geovani Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Geovani Barral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. When UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Geovani Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UD Fuerteventura's Allard Ijsselhof managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 16 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 18th minute of the match. Geovani Barral struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Fuerteventura. When Geovani Barral came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the UD Fuerteventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Barral couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lajos Révész was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Claris Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Wiktor Pochorylo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claris Quiroga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Barral in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, UD Fuerteventura's Allard Ijsselhof got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Claris Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Claris Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Geovani Barral came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the UD Fuerteventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Barral couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, UD Fuerteventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Piatek to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. The UD Fuerteventura fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Geovani Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Chicote made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga. In the 81st minute, Geovani Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. UD Fuerteventura made a substitution. Ismael Munoz replaced Basilio Quintero. 89 minutes into the match, Geovani Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. UD Fuerteventura's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
