Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Javier Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Milosz Majczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Milosz Majczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Kiliz. Daniel Garnero hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Santino Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Kiliz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santino Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Altos Gatos FC from getting a goal against them. Christian Kiliz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Abram Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Kiliz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Karl De Clercq got a free kick in the 47th minute. Axel Montenegro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustino Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Altos Gatos FC defense, Santino Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Kiliz. The Altos Gatos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Kiliz should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Agustin Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Villalobos in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Carolo Abancens could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 86th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Santino Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altos Gatos FC the free kick. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes in the game Daniel Garnero got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Agustin Villalobos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 93rd playminute. Carolo Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
