In the 30th minute, 龙磊辉 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 姚建烨 took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 40th minute 姚建烨 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when 莫谦响 made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. The supporters of Honduras booed when ≮China≯༺࿈༻王者荣耀 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Carlovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庞枫宽 in the 46th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by 姚建烨 in the 51st minute.
