Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Iulian Pietreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Cândreanu. When FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute of the match FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Cândreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Petrică Cândreanu made a great header on FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Arósio in the 14th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Txindoki made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Arósio in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gigel Horhoianu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gigel Horhoianu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Txindoki saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Txindoki, making the score, 2-0. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Pietreanu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Iulian Pietreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Wilson Arósio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Baldomiro Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pietreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nils-Emil Hansson got a free kick in the 74th minute. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Wilson Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Baldomiro Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Orçun Yalınalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
