Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Loko Plovdiv's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Tomanov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Tomanov having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Vladimir Tomanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 11th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Tomanov having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Nacho Barbutski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Nacho Barbutski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Tomanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Loko Plovdiv's goalkeeper Vladimir Tomanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Nacho Barbutski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Nacho Barbutski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Tomanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 41st minute of the match. Nacho Barbutski struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. A collision led to Loko Plovdiv getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kalin Mitrushev hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nacho Barbutski was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 52nd minute of play. Nacho Barbutski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Nacho Barbutski took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loko Plovdiv's Dencho Yashev was substituted for Genadi Ahmakov. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. Vladimir Tomanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Vladimir Tomanov made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Loko Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 73rd minute of play. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Nacho Barbutski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Loko Plovdiv players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
