The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Chano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute, Adan Otsoko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Saverio Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Almeyra F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Cristo Colas went to the wrong direction when Joel Gaona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 92nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes Almeyra F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Cristo Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 96th minute of the match. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
