Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Luis Heidemann having to make a save. José Luis Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Janusz Derlanga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dedê Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Leonardo de Lara notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo de Lara went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin-Maximilian Schwarzenegger got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leonardo de Lara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Alvarenga in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Alvarenga's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo de Lara in the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Dorival Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Alvarenga in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Janusz Derlanga who took care of the corner kick. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Dorival Alvarenga notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
