Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Neal Weatherby started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Kerville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Neal Weatherby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Weatherby in the 19th minute of play. If Neal Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Kerville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Kerville was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Steven Chaptal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Rick Souness got a free kick in the 60th minute. Francisco Seco in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Kerville, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 67 minutes of play, Elderslie Magpies's Neal Weatherby made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal. But to his dismay, Steven Chaptal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Christian Kerville skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 83rd play minutes Steven Chaptal shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 87th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Kerville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Christian Kerville in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ralph Gorham hit a great ball. The Elderslie Magpies support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
