Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho de Souza in the 10th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FairPlay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Jacinto Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafa Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho de Souza in the 25th minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Carlos Monteiro. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FairPlay FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson da Fonseca. Carlos Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 54th minute of the match. Jacinto Perez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Perez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. FairPlay FC's Ronaldinho de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 66 minutes on the clock, Alexander Carballo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Luiz Fabiano Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FairPlay FC's Marcel Oliveira in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Rafa Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded FairPlay FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
