With a little luck, HEAVENS's 钱树梁 got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 钱树梁 made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 史斌永, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verner Sundström scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 32 minutes into the game, 史斌永 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvestre Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HEAVENS's Silvestre Claus got a free kick in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Sundström in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Verner Sundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Verner Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cristopher de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Claus took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 钱树梁 having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Müslüm Tekinalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Verner Sundström's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Yiğit Seyran managed to get in a good position for a shot. HEAVENS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yiğit Seyran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Verner Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HEAVENS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Venezuela's Guillermo Espina was substituted for Guillermo Mariano. In the 96th minute, Verner Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The HEAVENS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
