Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jairo Malheiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jairo Malheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Jairo Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, Jairo Malheiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jairo Malheiro sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Jairo Malheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Malheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jairo Malheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Jairo Malheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Jairo Malheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Evander Zabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Jairo Malheiro made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jairo Malheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Malheiro. After 28 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Einar Rosin. In the 28th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evander Zabel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Malheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Jairo Malheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Osório hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Malheiro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano was substituted for Joel Sandström. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Goiano in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Osmar Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miron Zabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes in the game Rasmus Jönsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jairo Malheiro. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Joakim Vennerlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Miron Zabel made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miron Zabel in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miron Zabel in the 93rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
