The audience was convinced that Bernt Kihlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson. Sven-Olof Gummeson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Lundqvist in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Sven-Olof Gummeson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 76 minutes Mantorp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson managed to reach the ball for a save.
