A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski. Celso Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Trevisan. The goal made the score 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 34 minutes of play, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maksymilian Deput charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksymilian Deput the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maksymilian Deput hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 45th minute of play. Válbson Batista's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Batista helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chile booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ma Wei Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Corneliu Dridu sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Corneliu Dridu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski. Gerardo Pozo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Dr Lecter SC's Dieguinho de Medeiros was substituted for Válbson Batista. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Laércio Guedes replaced Corneliu Dridu. Guillermo Fontirroig made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Orlando Casaus. Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Garrido, made in the 91st minute of the game. Felix Garrido made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Guedes in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tihomir Donevski during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chile booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tihomir Donevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dr Lecter SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dr Lecter SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
