Baal Grunberg charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baal Grunberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baal Grunberg's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Baal Grunberg put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. After 53 played minutes, Clube do Remo MZ's Kang Cheng Ao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube do Remo MZ reached it. Baal Grunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Dagoberto Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute of play. Clube do Remo MZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
