With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codruț Hanganu saved White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Codruț Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Zhang Hong Ke. 16 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Remigio Vigil tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Hanganu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. After 38th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Codruț Hanganu and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Remigio Vigil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th minute of the match Magne Wenerdahl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. 62 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Hanganu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Remigio Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 69th minute of play. Xiao Fan Jing scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. George Deac might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Deac ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 82nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Xiao Fan Jing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Xiao Fan Jing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Xiao Fan Jing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
