With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Cebo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 11 minutes into the game, Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Pablo Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Wilfredo Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 27th minute. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Rameriz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Reynaldo Cebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legacy Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Cebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Bermudez's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Benito Sanz on his right side and into the goal. 44 minutes into the game it was 0-4. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Cebo to make the kick off. If Faustino Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo in the 53rd minute of play. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Reynaldo Cebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-5. After 60 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Legacy Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Cebo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Legacy Youth Academy's Faustino Montez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaudencio Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Legacy Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-6 after 84 minutes of play. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Cebo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reynaldo Cebo 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Legacy Youth Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
