Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Fidel Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Atilano Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domínguez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 7th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Hermon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Domínguez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Cidro to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Conrao having to interfere. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Domínguez AFC's Atilano Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Domínguez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galsino Camino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fidel Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Conrao having to make a save. If Sven-Ove Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Conrao having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Domínguez AFC from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes of play, Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fidel Gaitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes Domínguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Galsino Camino. 81 minutes in the game Bartolo Karlo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sven-Ove Colin. Humberto Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Hermon in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Galsino Camino during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Galsino Camino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Colin in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
