The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when La 李南南 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Eger in the 67th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Olavo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Per-Erik Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Erik Hjortberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 76 minute of play. 袁博斌 hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the 『挑战者』夔门FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Erik Hjortberg. The 『挑战者』夔门FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Erik Hjortberg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of 『挑战者』夔门FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 『挑战者』夔门FC throughout the match.
