Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Abbagnale got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Fernandino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Orsini. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, LUPI's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moises Fernandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alex Abbagnale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bernardo Orsini made a huge save. Alex Abbagnale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Abbagnale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Marrone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bernardo Orsini made a huge save. After 41 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Orsini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Moises Fernandino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Orsini. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 58 played minutes LUPI got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Valcareggi. Joshua Curbelo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Beppe Longo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the LUPI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Longo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of LUPI booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, LUPI's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alex Abbagnale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 68 minutes into the game, Marco Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUPI the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernardo Orsini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 75th minute of play forced LUPI's goalkeeper Bernardo Orsini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Marrone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Orsini. LUPI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 85th minute of play forced LUPI's goalkeeper Bernardo Orsini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco Attili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Alex Abbagnale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Salvador players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
