Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ernesto Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 4th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Guido Bartolome sent off a good shot on target. Lα Sυв 21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Bartolome in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Lopes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ernesto Merexildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Severiano Enekoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Enekoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ernesto Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Merexildo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Merexildo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ernesto Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Enekoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Enekoitz got free with Julio Vera in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Bartolome was the one to do the kick off. When Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute, Severiano Enekoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 65th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari was substituted for Guido Bartolome. In the 76th minute Pablo Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Pablo Vegetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Lα Sυв 21's Pablo Vegetti. But to his dismay, Pablo Vegetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Lα Sυв 21 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
