Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Raimundo Espírito Santo hit a great ball. Armando Gazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Armando Gazza. Juventus PTM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Osvaldinho Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus PTM's goalie prevented a goal. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentin Clarisse hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Cassius Byrne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Gazza skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Espírito Santo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes Juventus PTM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jacob May heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Osvaldinho Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yenal Tanır made a kick off. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 52nd minute of the match. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armando Gazza quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Raimundo Espírito Santo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yenal Tanır in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, USA's Jacob May sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Gazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juventus PTM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Monty Rogers scored to the left of an out of position Armando Gazza, making the score, 1-3. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Juventus PTM's Petre Mitică was substituted for Vidar Albäck.
